Yesterday we took the chicks on the first leg of their long adventure.
The eggs came from Nelson in the South Island and now the chicks will return to the South Island, to live in Marlborough.
Ms Jones will be taking them down there at Christmas in her van. They are going to live with her daughter Sophie and her family.
