The Great Migration

Our school operetta was called Turangawaewae. It was all about the history of our place, and our item was about the great Migration of Maori to Aotearoa.

The koruru was mounted on a bamboo pole so it could be put on top of the whare after it was built.

This is one of our school teachers her name is Julia she is really kind and creative she is always happy and so so nice she helps people in trouble or stuck on something she's really helpful and pretty she helps classes in need and she likes a lot of people she's not mean she's nice and caring she's a fantastic teacher she loves working at the best school Hamilton east school

Yesterday was a great day. Because it was cross country! I love cross country. I went home and I tell my mum and dad that I came 9th. Zari came 1st on the race.Yeeeha! My dad and mum said it ok. Will done
