We have two new adults working in Room 13 this term. Anne is our Masters student from the Univeristy of Waikato. She will be with us full time from Week 4. Anne is Canadian.



Our other new person is Katerine. She comes from Colombia and she is a learning assistant.

Back at school in Term 3

Welcome back to school everyone. And welcome back to Ms Jones.

Ms Jones is no longer in a moon boot or needing crutches, though she has a knee scooter to zip around the school.

Speaking of moon boots, we are going to learn about the planets this term. We have been watching Youtube clips about the New Horizons spacecraft trip  to Pluto and the Rover on Mars.

Today the sun shone and we enjoyed spending some time sketching bare trees on the courts.

 

 

 These children are writing all the words they know that have 'sh' in them.
